More Than Just A Human Calculator
I got my first job at 11 — delivering leaflets around the neighbourhood. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to. I liked money. I liked the idea that effort could turn into something tangible, and I wanted to figure out how that worked as early as possible.
It also didn't hurt that I was probably an expensive child to raise — so if I could take a little weight off my parents' shoulders, even better. Call it enlightened self-interest.
That curiosity never went away. It just got more sophisticated. Over time, "how do I make money?" became "how do I make money work better?" — and eventually, "why does everyone else find this so hard to understand?"
That last question is what led me here.
A degree in Economics and Finance gave me the technical foundation. I want to use it to make a difference for people who are too busy running their business to make sense of their own numbers. It was to bridge the gap between the numbers on the page and the people behind them — business owners who pour everything into their work, treat their business like a second child, and deserve actually to understand what their finances are telling them.
At Future Book Financial, I'm not just here to keep your books tidy. I'm here to help you move from surviving to thriving — with full clarity on what's driving that journey.
